Great for beginning readers and those with a reading disability

This app has been wonderful for my kindergarten son who was diagnosed with dyslexia. The books progress logically based on reading level, which is surprisingly difficult to find. So often books for beginning readers are all over the place phonetically. If he gets stuck on a word, he can touch the text to hear it sounded out. I appreciate that it asks questions throughout the stories to assess reading comprehension and that at the end of books they go over letter sounds and blends that will be introduced in the next book. It's truly been the best app we have found for him so far.

Best system for teaching reading

We used this program to teach all three of our kids how to read. Our first child started with the paper books. By the second set, they were each ready to move on to bigger books by themselves. I can't praise these books enough!

Reading For All Learners is Effective: This evidence-based reading program has been successfully used around the world to teach both proficient and struggling readers, as well as those with disabilities. Now, the program is available as an app, which includes new research-aligned and interactive features.

Reading For All Learners is Systematic: Each of the 141 books builds on the skills taught in the previous books, gradually introducing new skills and providing repeated practice opportunities. The sequential introduction of skills and practice opportunities in Reading For All Learners has been refined by scientific research and feedback from parents, teachers, and tutors over the last 40 years. The program also includes brief assessments to quickly and accurately determine if students have mastered new content.

Reading For All Learners is 100% decodable: Before students encounter a word in a story, they have a chance to practice the sounds that make up the word and practice the word itself. Ensuring each story is 100% decodable builds student confidence and improves fluency and comprehension.
